The Peery Professional Counseling practice provides anxiety and depression treatment for adults and adolescents. Using empathy and non-judgemental approaches, I provide interventions that promote healing and enable a better lifestyle.
It is very important to me that therapy is positive and holistic. Finding balance in your life begins with improving self-esteem and caring for yourself. My approach to therapy is person-centered, which means you are in charge, we go at your pace, and things should always be comfortable for you.
One session usually makes my clients feel much better. First, we need to build a rapport, and I want to hear your story! Everyone should feel comfortable and not feel like they are giving up their past to someone they don't know. It is important for me to build trust with you and to go at your pace as you feel comfortable. In most cases, clients tell me they feel like they have talked with a friend, but they realize there was personal growth in the conversation.
