Micah Duke is currently the sole practitioner at A Better Outlook Psychiatry & Addiction. He is a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice in the state of Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming. He specializes in general mental health conditions (depression, anxiety, etc.), but also has a passion for helping veterans, men, and first responders.
Micah Duke has nearly 23 years of medical experience beginning as a combat medic in the military and then as a paramedic in the "civilian" world. He completed his Masters in Business Administration in Accounting & Finance in 2007 and his Masters in Applied Clinical Psychology from San Angelo State University in 2018. He completed his Bachelor in Science in Nursing in 2018 and his Masters in Science in Nurse in 2022. He has worked as a police officer for almost 10 years with specialties as a Mental Health Peace Officer and investigative hypnosis.
