Glyndora founded Heal and Hope Counseling Services, LLC after experiencing multiple traumas and disappointments during her life journey. She is a grandmother with 10 grandchildren as of January 2021; and a mother of 2 biological daughters (after a 13 year desire to have them; 4 adoption agencies over 7 years that failed to provide her with children, and 6 surgeries to achieve motherhood. She also is a step mother of two sons. With these dynamics; her children and grandchildren include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder with Hyperactivity, Cerebral Palsy, Nail Patella Syndrome, and one grandchild who is still recovering from a major car accident, and multiple disabilities.
Glyndora's insight and level of empathy as she listens and walks alongside others during their own struggles, helps her to provide direction as she has a more educational approach to provide solid empirically tested modalities of therapy with the inclusion of God's Word.
She works to increase her skill set with the addition of more modalities and therapeutic tools and specializes in Marriage and family, Domestic Violence Prevention, Addiction, individual and group, Autism, Parenting, and other issues; and teaches certified classes in these skill sets. She also works with grief and loss issues, and multiple issues that effect mankind, our community, and our central family unit.
