I love working with children, teenagers, & couples. I enjoy drawing children & adolescents in with play & art therapy. These creative approaches help them to express themselves & foster a strong therapeutic bond between us. I guide couples to move from distress, distance, or contention to a place of renewed closeness & intimacy.
My background includes over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, seniors, & military personnel- through home, school, community based treatment & hospice care. I’m also certified as an anxiety and trauma specialist.
In your first session, I'd like to hear your story, & what brings you to therapy. It might feel good to be able to talk about it! I will guide you with strength-based approaches, to best meet your needs. Then we will work on setting goals to help you measure your progress, & you can decide how often you'd like to see me.
