Hi, my name is Alexa Yassi and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in trauma recovery. Traumatic stressors can impact our physical and emotional well-being and leave us feeing powerless, helpless and less equipped to handle life challenges. By using evidence-based therapeutic modalities and faith-based principles, together we can help your mind and body heal and connect back to your innate resiliency and identity through Christ Jesus.
I have advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). Through these models, I’m able to help individuals and couples gain insight into their lives and develop effective ways of changing negative thoughts, patterns and behaviors and strengthen their relationships.
