My intention as your therapist is to build and form a therapeutic relationship that becomes a safe place where you can explore the nature of persistent obstacles that leave you feeling confused, overwhelmed, or stuck.
Exploring the style of which you relate to others, including habits and patterns that are formed throughout the years, gaining insight into who you are and where you would like to be.
Together we will explore significant relationships in your life (family, spiritual, parental, work, romantic, friendships, etc) as well as your own relationship with yourself in order to gain awareness of how you deal and process your emotions. I will help you learn how to better handle and/or address conflict along with teaching you healthy coping skills to use during uncertain times.
My practice is faith based using different modalities such as mindfulness and psychotherapy, integrating different theories for the best person-centered approach towards your healing.
Aspiring to understand the reality of who you have been in the past, who you are in the present, will help you gain more control over writing the story of your future. Feeling more empowered because of the hard work you’ve taken to look inward and confront the ineffective ways your old self was coping with life’s struggles and relational realities.
Gaining an understanding while building self-empowerment, you will be able to believe in yourself while gaining strength and courage that lives from within, making the necessary and desired changes. In essence, you will be enabled to live the life you were created for.
